Privacy
This site’s remove-duplicate-lines and compare-two-lists tools process text only in your browser. We do not upload, store, or log the content you paste on any server.
What stays on your device
To save you re-pasting, the tool keeps a few things in your browser’s localStorage:
- your last input and the option settings, so they are there when you come back;
- up to three “Recent” snapshots (a short preview of each paste, or of each A + B pair on the compare page) shown as chips under the window.
These never leave the device, are not sent to us, and can be removed at any time with the Forget button next to the Recent chips (or by clearing site data in your browser).
No accounts, no ads, no content tracking. Aggregate analytics (Google Analytics 4 and/or Microsoft Clarity) are off by default and load only if we enable them; they never receive the text you paste. If we turn them on, this page will say so.
This applies to both tools: remove duplicate lines and compare two lists.
